She was preceded in death by her parents, Dr. Khatchatoor and Lucebear Sahakian; brother, Arsen Sahakian; sister, Hykandookht Sahakian; husbands, Roger Borget and Byron Baker; and great-grandson, Darron Desso. Nana came to the United States in 1946 as a war bride and settled in western New York, where she raised her four children. The last nine years of her life were spent in Sheffield, Ala. She loved her job as a greeter at Wal-Mart, where she welcomed everyone with a smile and will be truly missed by all those whose lives she touched.
