UXBRIDGE - Michael J. Burgess, 24, of 194 High St. died yesterday in University of Massachusetts Hospital, Worcester.
He leaves his parents, Ellis M. and Beatrice (Palmer) Burgess of Uxbridge, with whom he lived; six brothers, Ellis M. and Timothy J. Burgess, both of Uxbridge, Scott A. Burgess of Linwood, Jeffrey R. Burgess of Northbridge, Brian E. Burgess of Millbury and Nicholas D. Burgess of East Douglas; five sisters, Debra A. Grazulis of Whitinsville, Donna L. Burgess of Boston, Darlene M. Dillon of North Uxbridge, Dorean J. Dow of Merrimack, N.H., and Crystal J. Burgess of Brewster, N.Y.; his maternal grandmother, Gladys C. Palmer of Uxbridge; aunts and uncles; nieces and nephews. He was born in Worcester, and lived in Whitinsville and Uxbridge. He was a graduate of Uxbridge High School.
Mr. Burgess attended North Uxbridge Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow in Buma Funeral Home, 101 North Main St. Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Mendon Street. Calling hours at the funeral home are 7 to 9 tonight.
