JOHN RALPH JOHNSON, 89, Hamilton, passed away on Sunday, February 24, 2008, at the Daniel Healthcare Facility in Fulton, Miss. Born on November 18, 1918, in Marion County, he was the son of the late John Wilson and Alberta Page Johnson. He was previously employed with Fiat allis as a lift-truck driver.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, February 26, 2008, at 11 a.m. from the Bethlehem Methodist Church with burial in the adjoining cemetery. Greg Cook was the officiating minister.
Survivors include his wife - Elvie Lee Colburn Johnson; daughters - Sylvia Lee (Eugene) Holland and Renee Frederick; grandchildren - Barry Kevan, David, Eugene and Bryan Jason Holland and John Marshall, Marisa Lenore and Dylan Kier Frederick; great-grandsons - Corey and Dereck Holland; and two great-grandchildren.
Hamilton Funeral Home directed the services.
