Mrs. Cora May Leonard. 84 of 2643 State St., Santa Barbara, Calif., died Wednesday in St. Francis Hospital, Wilmington. She was visiting her son, Clifford Leonard, a missionary on leave from Japan, now with the Marcus Hook Baptist Church. She tripped and fell at his home, 20 Chestnut St., Marcus Hook, breaking her hip. She was recovering in the hospital from the fall when she had a heart attack. Born in Green, Iowa, she moved to Santa Barbara, Calif., in 1947. She previously lived in Portland, Ore., from 1937 to 1947.
Surviving are her son, and brother, Harvey Curry, of Newport, Ore., and two sisters, Mrs. Emmadene Slate, of Portland, Ore., and Mrs. Myrtle McLagan, of Albany, Ore. The funeral will be at 9 tonight at the Robert Moreland Funeral Home, 9th and Main Streets, Trainer. Burial will be in Willamette Cemetery, Albany, Ore., Monday afternoon. Calling hours will be after 7 tonight at the funeral home.
