Margaret (mom) was born to Vada Faye (Eakin) and Charles Millard Underwood. She was first married to Houston Cole then to Dudley Parks. Mom and Houston had two daughters together, Linda Marie "Cole" Hernes and Judy Katherine "Cole" Shanks. Mom and Dudley (Dad) had four sons together, Dale Eugene Parks, David Glen Parks and twins Paul Ray & Gary Wayne Parks.
Mom was full of grace and strength and was strong willed. She never showed just how much pain she must have been in while fighting her cancer, though it had spread thoughout her body. She simply never complained. She loved life and loved her children and family. She truly was an angel on Earth and I know she is an angel in Heaven now.
Oh, mom, we'll always carry you in our hearts.
