DIES FROM BURNS

Burns received on Nov. 1 fatal to Jacob Freed, 82 years 2415 Arleth Street, Sunday night at St. Anthony's hospital. The elderly man was burning leaves at his home when his clothing became ignited and he was severely burned about his legs.
The body was removed to the Gillis undertaking parlor to be prepared for burial. He is survived by six sons, five daughters and a sister, Nancy Wolfe; of Lewis, Ky. Freed was a veteran of the civil war.
He is survived by six sons, Albert, Samuel, Ode, Walter, Sant and Shell; five daughters, Mrs. Etta Carpenter, Mrs. Cora Gordon, Mrs. Ethel Davis, Mrs. Addie Campbell and Mazie Reed, and one sister, Mrs. Nancy Wolfe. The body was removed to the Gillis funeral parlor where it will remain until 10 o'clock Tuesday morning, at which time he will be placed in Memorial hall and will lie in state there until 2 o'clock in the afternoon, when funeral services will be held in charge of G.A.R. with burial in Soldier circle at Highland Lawn Cemetery.
