Hugo H. Janing, age 89, of 706 N. Eighth St., Manitowoc, died Friday, June 24, 2005, at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 28, 2005, at 11 a.m. at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Loren Lindeman will officiate. Burial will follow at St. John's Cemetery, Town of Centerville.
Hugo was born May 31, 1916, in the Town of Centerville, son of the late August and Clara Ecke Janing.
On May 22, 1947, Hugo married the former Audrey E. Jaeger at Iron Mountain, Mich. He was a member of Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church.
Survivors include his wife Audrey E. Janing, Manitowoc; one son, Randy H. Janing, Manitowoc; three brothers-in-law and five sisters-in-law, Viola Hoppe, Howards Grove, Florence Lorenz, Howards Grove, Harold and Lucille Jaeger, Manitowoc, Ellsworth and Darlene Jaeger, Sheboygan, Jeanette and Arthur Kober, Sheboygan; nieces, nephews other relatives and friends also survive.
Hugo was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Laura and Roy Voss, Ella and Harvey Hamann, and Emma and Joseph Neudeck; five brothers-in-law and two sisters-in-law, Ruth and Elmer Barts, Roland and Edna Jaeger, Herbert Hoppe, Clemens Lorenz and Arthur Bord.
Relatives and friends may call on Tuesday at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services at 11 a.m. The Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home, Manitowoc is assisting the Janing family.
