Lawrence was born on Apr. 7, 1932, in Manitowoc, son of the late Herbert and Aletta (Auberg) Gerroll. He served his country in the U.S. Navy. On Jun. 22, 1957, he married LouAnn Blindauer in Green Bay. He had been employed in the Tool and Dye Dept. at Hamilton Mfg. and in 1970 went to work for WPS at the Kewaunee Nuclear Plant, retiring in Jul. of 1995. He was a member of the E.A.A. (Experimental Aircraft Association) Chapter #383 and the National Rifle Association.

He is survived by his five sons and four daughters-in-law: Matt and Pam Gerroll, Two Rivers; Mike Gerroll, Las Vegas; Russ and Roberta Gerroll, Colo.; Craig and Nancy Gerroll, Two Rivers; Doug and Becky Gerroll, Two Rivers; seven grandchildren: Cassie and Mike McKinley, Ashley, Nikki, Jessica, Amy, Ava., Carson; and two great-grandchildren: Maxwell and Julian McKinley. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.

Lawrence was preceded in death by two brothers: infant brother, Harold and Robert Gerroll; four brothers-in-law: Roy Kretsch, Ralph Engelhardt, Bob Barbeau and Walter Leschig.

Funeral services for Lawrence, LouAnn, and Joan will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 17, 2011, at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, 3218 Tannery Rd., Two Rivers. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be Rev. Tom Reynebeau. Burial will follow at Knollwood Memorial Gardens for Lawrence and LouAnn. Full Military Honors will be accorded by the Two Rivers V.F.W. and American Legion.
