Charlotte was united in marriage with Lawrence Arthur LaPratt on August 17, 1946 in Caro. He preceded her in death on July 22, 1985. She was a 1946 graduate of Caro High School. Charlotte was a member of the Catholic faith, the Caro V.F.W. Auxiliary, a charter member of the Ladies of the Moose, and an Avon representative for 17 years.
She loved watching birds and sitting on her porch watching the world go by. Charlotte loved people in general, especially her family.
Charlotte is survived by one son, Danny LaPratt of Caro; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; two daughters-in-law, two sisters-in-law, Peg Korte of East Lansing and Sophie Korte of Arizona; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Charlotte was preceded in death by two sons, Larry and Fred LaPratt; two brothers, Fred and Bob Korte.

Funeral services were held Friday, October 14, 2011 at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home with Rev. Fr. John Ladd officiating. Cremation followed the service.
