Born in Eatontown, Mrs. Abbey was a daughter of the late William and Valerie Johnston Hyslop. She lived there until moving here 15 years ago. She was employed at the Shore Coat Co., here.
Also surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Irene Richardella, here, Mrs. Doris Gotbesky of Linden and Mrs. June Bullock of Zebulon, N.C.; two sons, William and Roy Abbey, Jr., both at home; a sister, Mrs. Ellen LeValley, here; and six grandchildren.
Services will be tomorrow at 10 a.m. in the Worden Funeral Home, 60 East Front St., with Rev. W. Gordon Lowden, pastor of the First Methodist Church of Red Bank, officiating. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, West Long Branch.
