Helen Marie Gaddis Klueter was born on Nov. 27, 1928, the daughter of Glenn and Ila Chase Gaddis. She married Leroy E. Klueter on July 24, 1948 in Hamel, Illinois.
Helen was a volunteer for the handicapped at SIUE, as well as a volunteer and tutor for over 30 years with the Edwardsville School Dist. No.7. She worked for Special Arts Festival for three festivals.
Surviving are her husband "Lee", son, Jeff Klueter and wife Tobie Bernstein of Chevy Chase, Maryland, daughter Beverly Klueter Schaake and husband Kenneth. Four grandchildren, Jessica and Sam Klueter, and Christopher and Collin Schaake.
No visitation, memorial services at a later date. Her remains were donated to St. Louis University School of Medicine.
