Roy E. Harter was instantly killed last Monday when caught by a hoisting crane that came in swinging around and crushed him.
He was employed by the Weed Lumber Co., in the woods near Weed. He had planned on leaving his position on the SDunay before and going to stay with his parents in Kerby, Ore., but when the day arrived, he decided to stay another day or two.
