Christopher Crisp was born in Liverpool England January 4, 1847. He died in Los Angeles June 4, 1921 and is buried in the Inglewood CA cemetery. He was keeper of the Crisp Point Lighthouse station in the Upper Peninsula of MI, believed between Oct. 1878 and March 1890. In March 18, 1890 Christopher Crisp was discharged as keeper.
He had five sons, the last two would have been born at Crisp Point. One was Gerald Budlong Crisp, born Oct. 14, 1879 and died April 6, 1932 . The other son born there was Jasper Chipmond Crisp, Nov. 10, 1881.
Christopher Crisp was married to Gertrude Martha Jane Peck, born in Canada January 20, 1848 and died July 25, 1888. She is buried at Maple Ridge in Sault Ste. Marie, MI.
