Paul M. Letts, 74, of 468 Rice, Ionia, died July 7, at the Ionia County Memorial Hospital. He was born June 1, 1913, in Elsie, Michigan, the son of John and Belle Swarthout Letts.
He lived in Ionia all his life and was married to Norma Andres on July 31, 1934, in Muskegon.
He was a member of the SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church inIonia. He was a past member of the Ionia Hunting and Fishing Club.
Surviving are his wife, Norma; three sons, James M. Letts of Ionia, Richard Lee Letts of Ionia; and Lawrence E. Letts of Muir; one daughter, Joan Erridge of California; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. One brother and one sister preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at the SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, the Rev. James Hoogterp officiating. Rosary will be said Thursday at 8 p.m. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. The family will be at the Lake Funeral Home in Saranac Wednesday and Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m.
