Hanna and her sister Anna Elise immigrated to America, through Liverpool and Montreal, arriving in Duluth, MN in July of 1895. They were part of the "Jensen Family migration": all 28 member of the close-knit Jensen clan (mother, siblings, and all children) came to the U.S. by 1903.
Hanna married Sivert Vines Lothe on 3 Nov 1900 in St. Paul, Minnesota. They became parents of five children: (Alvhilde, Harold, Borghild, Earling, Raymond). She preceeded her husband in death, passing in April of 1949. Sivert died in December of the same year.
