Shellsburg, March 6-special: Funeral services for Mrs. Thomas Fish were held Friday afternoon at the Steve Van Fossen home, Rev. George Lindsay officiated, Interment was in Oakwood.
Ann Isherwood was born in Monoaganeia Pa., Ia 1847. On Feb 22, 1871, she married Thomas Fish. Five Daughters and three sons were born to this union.
Mrs. Fish was a member of the Women's Relief corps at Webster City. She also belonged to this Pythian sisters Ladies of the G.A.R. and Royal Neighbors. Her husband was a ciil war veteran. The children who survive are George Fish, Shellsburg; Tom Fish Garland Kas.; Mrs. Jay Moodys, Garrison; Mrs. George, Yous, Webster City; Mrs. Bert Baker, Cedar Falls; Mrs. Clarence Morris, Reinbeck; Mrs. cullen McEwen, tipton. There are twenty-four grand children and eleven great-grandchildren.
