Mrs. Rena L. Adams, 90, of Three Oaks, Michigan died Friday morning, October 21, 2011 at St. Anthony Memorial Hospital in Michigan City, Indiana.

Mrs. Adams was born August 27, 1921 in Big Flat, Arkansas to Casper and Catherine "Tisha" (Sisk) Cox She married Howard L. Adams on April 28, 1936 in Cardwell, Missouri. Mr. Adams died February 6, 1997. Mrs. Adams was a member of Calvary Tabernacle Church and loved attending the Ladies Retreat. She enjoyed cooking, sewing and embroidering pillowcases. Mrs. Adams loved her family and attending the Reunions were she could visit with so many of them.

Survivors include her children, Dannie (Alice) Adams of Coloma, Michigan; Linda (Jerry) Jerue of Climax, Michigan; Eunice (Charles) Place of Buchanan, Michigan; Eddy (Denise) Adams of Clarkston, Michigan; and Shirley Allred of Three Oaks; daughters-in-law, Sharon of Oxford, Michigan, Debbie of Charleston, SC and Dorothy Godwin of Battle Creek, Michigan, son-in-law Wesley Arnold of Alpena, Michigan; 28 grandchildren, 70 great grandchildren, 17 great great grandchildren, her twin sister, Lena Hill of Marshall, Arkansas and sister Mae Austin of St. Louis, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her husband, daughter, Gloria Arnold and sons, Kenneth and Jerry.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, October 24 at Calvary Tabernacle Church in Three Oaks with Pastor Brad Payne officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Three Oaks, Michigan. Visitation will be from 3:00 – 7:00 pm on Sunday at the church.

Memorials may be made to the Pediatric Heart Transplant Unit at C.S. Mott Children's Hospital, 300 N Ingalls, Rm N14D06, Ann Arbor, MI 48109-5475.
