Worked in architectual firm of Gundy and Langley as a student. Edmund was in partnership with his uncle Mr Langley from 1872-1892. Edmund Burke designed alot of buildings that are still standing today.Edmund was the head of the firm Burke, Horwood and White at the time of his death. Edmund died in his residence at 23 South Drive in Rosedale on January 2, 1919 from complications brought on by pneumonia.
