May 20, 1856 recorded his marriage to Miss E. W. Gault who was born February 28, 1831, a daughter of John and Nancy (McKinsey) Gault, her parents having become residents of Harrison County in 1839. Mrs. Miller was seventy-one years of age at the time of her death, and both she and her husband were communients of the Presbyterian Church.
