Cleda and her sister Margaret vied for the affection of Frederick Norman Phillips after "Norman's" first wife Mae died in the flu epidemic. Eventually Margaret won out. That caused a rift between the sisters for many years. They did eventually reconcile. Cleda married William Lewis Jan. 2nd 1919. It was the 2nd marriage for Mr.Lewis as he was 64 at the time. Though he always told people he lied about his age and that he was really much older. They had 5 children in 6 years. Some time after 1940 she married Alfred Neilson. Buried in an unmarked grave in Ballard Cemetery per her daughter Martha.
