MURPHYSBORO-Mary A. Boudet, 89, passed away at 7:31 a.m. Friday, May 31, 2013, in Murphysboro. Mary was born Dec. 12, 1923, in Ava, a daughter to the late George W. and Burch C. (Easterly) Stout. Mary was united in marriage to Robert H. Boudet on Dec. 25, 1943, in Murphysboro. Robert preceded her in death Dec. 13, 2003. She was an active member of First Baptist Church and had been a longtime Sunday school teacher and had served her church in numerous ways. She was a homemaker and had worked for the State of Illinois Department of Children and Family Services for several years. Her life was filled with a love of service to others. Many lives were touched by her love and service. She and her family were especially proud of her achievement of several first prize apple pies in the Murphysboro Apple Festival apple pie competition. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 5, in First Baptist Church in Murphysboro, with the Rev. Shaker Samuel of First Baptist Church officiating. Interment will be in Ava Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church. Survivors include two sons and three daughters-in-law, Albert and Trish Boudet and Bill and Marci Boudet, all of Murphysboro, and Donna Boudet of Gig Harbor, Wash.; two granddaughters, Corrie (Mitch) Burdick and Emily (Mike) Reiman; four grandsons, Richard Boudet, Brian (Michelle) Boudet, Bobby (Nikki) Boudet and Jesse Boudet; eight great-grandchildren, Kelsey Hottes, Kamryn Boudet, Gavin Boudet, Colby Boudet, Cody Mitchell, Cory Mitchell, Leila Reiman and Addilyn Reiman; and one brother-in-law, Gene Graeff of Murphysboro. Mary is also survived by many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Mary was preceded in death by one son, the Rev. George Boudet; two sisters, Betty R.
