ABRAHAM JAMES
Funeral services were held Saturday Oct. 7, for Abraham James, late of 511 West Main. He died Thursday at a Florence Nursing home at the age of 87.
Services were held at the Florence Mortuary Chapel with the Rev. Robert J. Babb officiating. Organ selections were played by Mrs. Dom Del Duca.
Pallbearers were Delbert Angel, Harry Dailey, James Fabrizio, Victor Geroux, Anthony and Frank Madonna.
he was born March 10, 1885 at Coal Creek and had lived in Florence and eastern Fremont county all his life, with the exception of a short time when he was in Montana.
he was a retired coal miner and was a 50=year member of the United Mine Workers of America.
He and Alma E. Larsen were married at Red Lodge, Mont. March 17, 1910. She preceded him in death in August 1971.
He is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Mabel L. and Robert R. Davis of Pueblo.
Burial was at Union Highland Cemetery.
