John Babaletakis of Highland passed away suddenly on October 25, 2011. Originally from Mistras, Greece, John was a long-time resident and business owner in Highland. A loving and dedicated husband, father and friend who will be missed by many. John is survived by his devoted wife, Pipitsa Babaletakis, and his daughter Tina Babaletakis-Sebring and her husband Michael of Scottsdale, Arizona and son Peter Babaletakis and his fiancé Katrina Petrie of Poughkeepsie, along with many friends and family. Calling hours are on Sunday, October 30, 2011 from 2:00-4:00pm & 7:00-9:00pm at Parmele, Auchmoody & Schoonmaker Funeral Home on 110 Fulton Ave, Poughkeepsie.
