ROCKVILLE, Md. - Joyce Nagata Maguire, 43, died Thursday, Jan. 6, 2000, in Rockville.
Born Aug. 30, 1956, in La Jolla, she lived in Rockville for 17 years. She was an attorney for the general accounting office and the Department of Defense. She graduated from Oceanside High School in Oceanside, CA, and Cal Poly University in San Luis Obispo, CA.
Mrs. Maguire is survived by her husband of 16 years, Frank Maguire of Rockville; mother and father Miki and Mits Nagata of Oceanside; son Matthew Maguire of Rockville; daughter Margaret Maguire of Rockville; and sisters Janet Yumen of Chula Vista and Pat Chang of Fremont.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 21, at Mission San Luis Rey, with the Rev. Michelle Gagnon officiating.
