Mr. Mulch professed faith in Christ about forty years ago, and coming to Waverly to live he united with the M.E. Church, South, about 15 years ago.
He was married to Miss Minerva Rogers, January 9, 1862. To this union five children were born, namely, Mrs. Mary Cook of this city; Mrs. Lizzie Jones of Paris, Mo.; Will, of Munden, Kansas; Charlie of Frank-, and Frank, of Mt. Vernon. Besides his wife and children he is survived by one brother, Ben, of Hubble, Neb, 21 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and many friends.
Funeral services were held Friday morning, February 20, at 10:30, at the M.E. Church, South, the pastor, Rev. W.F. Atkins, officiating, assisted by Rev. T.H. Ballarby. The pall bearers were C.W. Deatherage, J.C. Deatherage, H.L. Turner, G.B. Turner, Will Givens and H.R. Dalby. The flowers were cared for by Mrs. Edna Roberts, Mrs. Agnes Rogers, Mrs. Jennie Jolly and Miss Anna Rogers. Interment was in East Cemetery.
