James Coulter, 64, a car builder in the Monon shops, died at 5:45 am Saturday in the family home, 1308 Oak street, after a year's illness. Born in Lafayette, he was married in 1915 to Edna Rock and was a member of the Pentecostal church and the Brotherhood of Railway Workers No 556. Surviving are the widow; two step-sons, Howard and Clarence Rock, city; three sisters and a brother, Mrs Margaret Jordan, Bloomington, IL, Mrs Anna Burkhart, Hebron, Mrs Nellie Melville, Glen Ellyn, IL and Albert Coutler, city.
FUNERAL NOTICE: COULTER, James-Friends may call at Soller-Baker funeral home after Sunday noon. Services there at 3:30 pm Monday, Rev. Vallorie Clymer officiating. Interment in Spring Vale cemetery.
