He was Born April 17, 1920 in Lee County, KY, to the late Grant and Henrietta (Tincher) Evans. He was retired from the Beattyville Concrete Block and a U. S. Army Veteran having served in WWII. He also was a former Decon and a member of the Beattyville Christian Church.
Survivors are his wife Blanche (Pendergrass) Evans of Pebworth, KY; one son, three daughers; five grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by one infant daughter, two brothers, three sisters and a son-in-law.
Burial, with Military Rites by the Three Forks VFW #11296, was in the Pendergrass Cemetery, Booneville, KY, with Booneville Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
