Booneville, Nov. 21 - Grant Evans, 83, retired farmer, died suddenly at 6 a.m. today at his home at Pebworth. He was a member of the Christian Church.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Henrietta Evans; three sons, Willie Evans, Walton; Morris and Clyde Evans, Pebworth; three daughters, Mrs. Myrtle Jones, Dayton, Ohio; Mrs. Lelia Bernard, Huntington, W. Va., and Mrs. Verdie Cole, Pebworth, and 22 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at the residence at 1 p.m. Friday by the Rev. Charlie Evans. Burial will be in the Pendergrass Cemetery at Levi. The body will be taken to the residence from the King Justice Funeral Home here at 8:30 am.m Thursday.
