Larry, also fondly called "Bozo," was son of D.Z. and Audie (Oxford) Lynch. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War and served aboard the USS Mansfield (DD-728). He married Peggy Whillock, and together they had three children; Michael, Cindy(Brock) and Traci(Hatchett). He was a 50-year Mason, and a member of the Dardanelle Boyce Wood VFW Post 3141. He was a retired line driver for the Time D.C. After the death of his wife in 1987, Larry later became engaged to Becky Bacon. He passed away from lung cancer.
