Georgia was a very vibrant woman who was a newspaper journalist. She had two successful marriages: her second one was to Ferner Nuhn. Ferner happened to be the widow of Georgia's cousin Ruth Suckow: Ferner and Georgia helped establish the Ruth Suckow Memorial Association in the mid 1960s. Georgia was responsible for helping to organize her cousin's papers for the Special Collections at the University of Iowa Library in Iowa City, Iowa. See http://www.ruthsuckow.org/home
