Claud Adams, 85, of 3325 Curtis Clark Drive died in a local hospital yesterday. He had been a resident here for the past 36 years. He was a retired farmer and a member of Gardendale Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Josie Adams; four daughters, Mrs. L. E. Martin, Mrs. Ed Meuller, Mrs. W. E. Wright, and Miss Lillian Adams, all of Corpus Christi; a son, M. G. Adams of Corpus Christi; ten grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be today at Gardendale Baptist Church with the Rev. H. D. Christian, pastor and the Rev. C. N. Jones of Flour Bluff Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in Aberdeen Cemetery under direction of Cage-Mills Funeral Home.
