She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy S. Dickerson and Essie South Dickerson; husband, Fred Cox; sons, Fred Cox Jr. and Steve Cox; brother, Roy Dickerson; and granddaughter, Jennifer Cox.
She was a licensed insurance agent and worked for Turner, Dunn, Murphy Associates and James R. Ford Agency in Russellville.
Survivors are: her son, Ronnie Cox of Wynne; grandsons, Kevin Cox of Maryland, Bryan Cox of Texas, Mark Cox of Lonoke and Eric and Daniel Cox of Russellville; granddaughter, Angie Freeman of Russellville; and several great-grandchildren.
Services were at Wynne Baptist Church with burial in the Rest Haven Cemetery in Russellville, AR. Arrangements and information were by: Kernodle Funeral Home.
