Melvin W. Fiedler, 81, formerly of 804 Reed St., Plymouth, died in Plymouth Hospital early this morning after being admitted there late Friday night.
Mr. Fiedler, a resident of Rocky Knoll annex for the past year and a half, was born Sept. 26, 1891 in Plymouth, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Louis L Fiedler.
On Dec. 1, 1928, he married Elsie Fett in St. John's Lutheran Church, Plymouth.
They lived and farmed in the town of Sheboygan Falls until moving to Plymouth in 1941 where he worked for the Lakeshore Marty Cheese Co. until retiring in 1956. Mrs. Fiedler died March 17, 1970.
Mr. Fiedler was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Plymouth.
Survivors include two brothers, Alban of Plymouth, and Elmore, Hannahan, SC. He was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters.
