"Former Granville Resident Dies in Ohio
Israel Roby, 94, died at the home of his daughter Mrs. Lucinda Long of St. Marys, O., yesterday after an illness of nine weeks. Mr. Roby had lived at Granville for 50 years before moving to St. Marys about one and one-half years ago.
He is survived by one son, Henry of Montpelier; five daughters, Mrs. Sadie Saylors of Muncie, Mrs. Gertrude Walters and Mrs. Rosa Locke of Granville, Mrs. Lucinda Long and Mrs. Cora Goodwin of St. Marys, O. twenty grandchildren and twenty-one great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at the home of a granddaughter, Mrs. A. M. Zearbaugh of Granville at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon. Burial will be in the Union Cemetery near Eaton. Friends may call at the home of Mrs. Zearbaugh of Granville after 10 o'clock Sunday afternoon."
