Ernestine L. Snyder , 96, of Paducah died Thursday, November 10, 2011 at 4:40 a.m. at Parkview Nursing & Rehab Center. Ernestine was a member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, and a native of Ballard County. She retired from Paducah Shirt Factory, was past president of Woodmen of World Lodge #6002, served as recording secretary of Local #98 Garment Workers Union, area board member of AFL/CIO , and was a founding member of McCracken County Homemakers Club #98.
Services will be held Sunday, November 13, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Father Brian Roby officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, November 12, 2011 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah from 5:00-8:00 p.m.
Survivors include one daughter: Patricia A. Starks (Dennis), Louisville, KY, one grandson, Stuart A. Starks, (Sarah), West Chester, Ohio, one great-granddaughter, Scarlett Katherine Starks, several nieces and nephews.
Preceding in death were husband, Roy B. Snyder, parents: Ernest Hanson Luton & May M. Vaughn Luton, two brothers, James Kenneth "J.K." Luton and Garnell "Monk" Luton.
