Bessie Newell, of Lumberton, passed away at her residence.
She lived in Southeast Texas most of her life and in Lumberton for the past twelve years.
She was survived by her husband Robert D. Newell; her sons, Thomas Milton Campbell and his wife Tina, Kenneth W. Campbell and his wife Vickie; Loyd Jeffery Billot and his wife Shirley; her daughters, Johnnie Mae Foret and husband Lee B. Foret, Sr., Mary Cobb and her husband Roger (Mickey) Cobb; fourteen grandchildren and twenty-two great grandchildren. She was a member of Candlestick Baptist Church.
