The former Clara Bliffert, she was born Aug. 11, 1886, in Milwaukee, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Bliffert. She was married on Sept. 12, 1912, in Milwaukee, to Raymond Lahl. The couple lived in Milwaukee until 1937 when they moved to Plymouth.
Mrs. Lahl was a member of the First Congregational United Church of Christ in Plymouth, the church choir, the Women's Fellowship of the church, and the Auxiliary of the Ladewig-Zinkgraf American Legion Post.
Survivors include her husband, two daughters, Mrs. Ralph (Kathryn) Friedl, of Milwaukee, and Mrs. Robert (Dorothy) Stuhlmacher, of Wisconsin Rapids; two sons, John and Raymond P., both of Milwaukee; 12 grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Charles McCall, of Milwaukee; and two brothers, John Bliffert, of Milwaukee, and Evert Bliffert, of Elm Grove,
Two sisters preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Wittkopp Funeral Home In Plymouth, with the Rev. Herbert Bal-com, pastor of the First Congregational United Church of Christ, officiating. Burial will be in Plymouth Union Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Saturday.
