Catharine, wife of Josiah Nachtrieb, 340 North 10th, died shortly after noon of pneumonia. She had been ill since Sunday and was in a precarious condition. Deceased was 54 years of age, was born in Reading and resided here all her life. She was a consistent member of St. John's German Lutheran Church and was highly esteemed by her many acquaintances. Her husband and two children-the wife of Police Officer Scheffler and Harry Nachtrieb, both of this city, survive.
