Julius Krueger, 75, lifelong resident of the county, died early today at the farm home in Rockland.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1 pm. from the home and later from the Emmanuel Evangelical church in Rockland. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Krueger was born at Rockland in 1867 and in 1886 married Miss Elizabeth Krueger. They located on a farm in the town where they since resided except for a short period when they lived in Reedsville. In addition to farming Mr. Krueger also operated a threshing rig. He was an elder for years in the Emmanuel congregation.
Survivors are the widow; two sons, Richard, of Chicago, Harry of Rockland; two daughters, Mrs William Ebert of Rockland, Mrs Leonard Piepenburg, of Rantoul, Calumet County; three brothers, Gottfried of Sheboygan, William G. of route 4, Chilton, Albert of California; two sisters, Mrs Bernard Zahn, of Valders, Mrs. Minnie Rahr of California; 22 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
