Dr. Andrew Edward Demshki, JR of Poulsbo May 27, 1920 to Nov. 5, 2011

Andrew was born to Andrew and Helen Demshki in Denver, Colorado. He is survived by his loving wife Charlene and children: Drew, Tom (Diane), Mike Demshki, Ginger George-Smith (Ken) and Greg George (Kathy). Grandchildren, Maudie Demshki, Trenton, Tyler and Tanner Smith, Daren, Emily and Mason George; Siblings, Eleanor Demshki, Helen Anderson and Robert Demshki (Sharon,) numerous nieces and nephews. Brother Edward and Sister Gladys are with the Lord.

He graduated from the University of Denver with a Bachelor of Science and Medical Degrees. He studied at Harvard School of Medicine, Mount Sinai Hospital, New York and the University of Chicago. Andrew practiced as an Ear, Nose and Throat surgeon at St. Mary Corwin Hospital in Pueblo, Colorado for 46 years.

In 1944, he joined the Navy and was assigned to the Naval Hospital stationed at Oak-Knoll Naval Hospital in Oakland, CA then to Guam, Field Evacuation Hospital. His second tour of duty was with the Fleet Marines.

He enjoyed being a Rotarian for over 40 years.

Andrew loved the Lord and knew he was God's child. He attended Liberty Bay Presbyterian Church in Poulsbo where a service will be held Saturday, November 19th at 2 p.m.

Dr. Andrew Edward Demshki Jr., 1920-2011, passed away Nov. 5, 2011, in Poulsbo, Wash. Services will be held after the first of the year in Pueblo, Colo., where he practiced at St. Mary-Corwin Hospital for 46 years.
