MARION - Miss Mamie Elizabeth Meggs, 85, died Wednesday morning in a Marion hospital after a short illness.
Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Thursday from Bullard Funeral Home. Rev. C. V. Lupo, pastor of the Marion Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
Survivors include three sisters, Mrs. Clara Allen of Marion, Mrs. A. R. Nicholson of Mullins and Miss Jennie Meggs of Forest Park, Ga.; and three brothers, Rev. S. J. Meggs of Dovesville, Frank Meggs of Jacksonville, Fla. and Roy Meggs of Houston, Fla.
