JOHN SCOTT

John Wilson Scott, 81, of Las Vegas, passed away Nov. 23, 2007. He graduated high school and joined the U.S. Navy and fought in World War II. He was a retired restaurant manager. He moved to Washington D.C., and became a watchmaker, then moved to Las Vegas in 1955. He began a career in the restaurant business and worked as a Pro-Tech security guard for the last seven years. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Jonelle Scott; and lifetime companion, Joann Kramer. John is survived by his daughter, Sherrie M. Jolley, husband, Brannon Jolley; grandchildren, Steve and Kari Welch, Tara Blow, Kathryn and Austin Miller, and Ryan Beede; great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 28, with services to follow, both at Davis Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Donations can be made to St. Judes Childrens Hospital.
