Ida Sue Higgs Ausburn, wife of Anderson Eugene Ausburn, Sr., passed away on the morning of May 7, 1999.
Mr. and Mrs. Ausburn were married March 22, 1958 in Henry County, Florida. To their union were the birth of seven children:
1. Ivy Hampton Ausburn, named after Anderson's mother
(Ivey Delilah Bryant Ausburn), and brother (Ivy Van "Bo" Ausburn)
2. Beverly Jane Ausburn who married Douglas Paul Wolfgram, and parents of two boys.
3. Rhonda Sue Ausburn who married Jim Ballinger, they are the parents of three boys, and two girls.
4. Andi Beth Ausburn Johnson, who married Robert Johnson, parents of two children, a boy and girl.
5. Dewayne Higgs Ausburn, who married Suzette, and parents of a son.
6. Anderson Eugene Ausburn Jr., never married, fathered one son, Ivy Bryant Ausburn.
7. Heather LeAnn Ausburn, mother of three children, with a common law husband (deceased), William Carlton Dean. Heather and Billy had three children, a daughter, and two sons.
Mrs. Ausburn worked most of her career as the bookkeeper at the family business she and her husband owned and operated in Calvary, GA. After Andy sold his garage after retirement, Sue went to work Roddenbery's, in Cairo for a period, and later at The Smokehouse in Concord, Florida. She taught Pre-K at Beckbranch Kindergarden for a period, in Calvary, GA.
At the time of her death, Mrs. Ausburn enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, and working in her yard.
