Son of Arthur and Grace Prince Brown.

WALHALLA - The body of Sgt. Arthur Brown, Jr., who was killed on the Ludendorf Bridge over the Rhine in Germany, March 18, 1945, will arrive at the Ansel Funeral Home Thursday morning and will be carried home about 10 o'clock Thursday morning.

Funeral services will be at the home Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock conducted by the Rev. J. Claude Evans. Interment will be in West View Cemetery. Full military honors at the graveside will be in charge of the Lewis E. Blanchett Post, American Legion, in conjunction with the Walhalla post of the VFW.

Sgt. Brown entered the service from his sophomore class of Clemson College, June 11, 1942. He went overseas in November of 1944.

He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Brown of Walhalla; three sisters, Miss Elva Brown and Miss Rose Brown, both of Columbia, and Miss Jodie Brown of Walhalla; and three brothers, George Brown of Walhalla, Gene Brown of Columbia and Jerry Brown of Clemson.
