Anderson - Gloria K. (Kennerk) Lamper, 91, Anderson, died December 5, 2009 in Nixa, Missouri.

She was born July 4, 1918 in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and had lived in this area since 1941.

Gloria was a farm wife. She owned and operted Mrs. Lamper's Catering Service and Party Barn.

A Member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church, Gloria was a former member of the Board of Madison County Historical Society, the Board of Gruenwald Historic House, and St. Ambrose Rosary. She pursued family histories, leader of 4-H and was a member of National Right to Life.

Survivors include her children, Margaret Ann (Steve) Samuelson of Nixa, Missouri, Celia (Nick) Linden of McFarland, Wisconsin, and Henry A. (Mary) Lamper of Anderson; grandchildren, Cynthia (Robert) Smith, Robert Schaeffer, Alex Linden, John (Cindy Lu) Lamper, and Jennifer (Chris) Klettheimer; great grandchildren, Kailee & Riley Smith, and Carter & Lucy Lamper; great great grandchildren, Connor, Luke, and Jamison Klettheimer and a number of Wicken's cousins, who live here locally.

She was preceded in death by her husband, whom she married June 30 1941, John H. Lamper, on August 13, 1989; parents, Harry F. & Norah (Wickens) Kennerk; and son-in-law, Robert Schaeffer. Gloria was the last survivor of eight children, including the Rev. Dan Kennerk, CSC, who served as a missionary in Bangladesh for 49 years in the Holy Cross.

Visitation will be from 5:00 - 8:00 PM on Wednesday, December 9, 2009 with Rosary at 7:45 PM, at Robert D. Loose Funeral Home, 200 W. 53rd St, Anderson.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, December 10. 2009 at 2:00 PM, at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, 2801 Lincoln St., Anderson, Indiana 46016, with Rev. Monsignor Robert Sell presiding, Rev. Robert Williams concelebrating and Rev. Edward Dhondt concelebrating.

Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery-Anderson .
