Christine Lewis Curtsinger was the wife of Thomas Curtsinger, they were married on January 25, 1915; the daughter of John A and Bertha Lewis; and the mother of Rex, Elwood, Gracie Mae, and Vada Pearl Curtsinger. She had three brothers Robert Lewis, George Alvery Lewis, Arthur Thomas Lewis; one half brother Gaither Lee Hutchinson;and she also had five sisters, Mary Lou Lewis, Mamie Lewis Curtsinger, Irene Lewis Coffman, Ida Lewis, and Vada Lewis Stevens.
Her Death Certificate was in the State of Illinois Registration Dist No. 578, Primary Dist.No. 3426, registered No. 368, County Clerk's record 11829, she died in Decator with tuberculosis.
In the Decatur Review it says, "Christine died in the Decatur and Macon County tuberculosis sanatorium. She had been in failing health six months and had been in the sanitorium for four months."

Mrs. Christine Curtsinger, wife of Thomas Curtsinger, 1425 North Twenty-Second Steet, died at 8-45 o'clock Sunday evening at the Decatur Macon County Tuberculosis sanatorium, where she had spent the four months, suffering from lung trouble. She had been ill for six months. She was thirty-four years old.
Mrs. Curtsinger, as born near Danville, K y. , in 1894, and most life was spent there. The family came to Decatur from Kentucky last October. She is survived by her husband and three children; Rex, Elwood, Vada Curtsinger,. The body was taken to Moran Sons, funeral director and prepared for burial.

Mrs. Christine Curtsinger, 34, died at 8:45 o'clock Sunday evening in Decatur and Macon County tuberculosis sanatorium. She had been in failing health six months and had been in the sanatorium four months. Mrs. Curtsinger came to Decatur with her husband, Thomas Curtsingers and three children in October, from their former home in Kentucky. They have since been living in the 2300 block of East Locust Street. Mrs. Curtsinger was born near Danville, Ky., and passed most of her life there. Surviving are the husband and children, Rex, Elwood and Vada Pearl. The body was removed to Moran & Sons' establishment and prepared for burial.

Mrs. Tom Curtsinger died in Decatur, Ill., Sunday night. Deceased is thirty-five years of age and a member of the Baptist Church and is survived by her husband and three children, Elwood, Rex, and Vada Mae. The funeral will be held at the home of Mr. Joe Massey at 2:30 Wednesday afternoon, and burial in the Bellevue Cemetery.

Mrs. Tom Curtsinger died Sunday night in Decatur, Illinois, and will be buried in Danville Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. The funeral will be held at the home of Joe Massey residence on Moore avenue. She is survived by her husband and three small children, her Mother, and several brothers and sisters. She was a member First Baptist church of Danville.
