"Beatrice M. Katie Manning, 86, of Nazareth, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 14, 2011 at Gracedale. Born: in Moore Township on April 5, 1925, she was a daughter of the late Edgar, Sr. and Maude Remaly Bellis.
Personal: She was the wife of the late Frederick Manning. Katie was a dedicated homemaker and a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who loved and cherished her family. Memberships: She was a member of St. John s United Church of Christ, Nazareth.
Survivors: her loving daughter, Susan I. Hess of Nazareth; seven grandchildren, Lisa, Richard, Jr., Rhonda, Dawn, Cindy, Wendy and Kelly; as well as great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; brother, Edgar Bellis, Jr. and his wife, Elaine of Moore Township; sister, Clista Hartzell and her husband, Richard of Bath; along with many nieces and nephews. In addition to her late husband, Frederick, she was preceded in death by her son, Richard L. Manning, Sr., as well as three brothers, Harold, Charles and Woodrow Bellis; and four sisters, Alberta Bartholomew, Evelyn Miller, Louella Graver and Virginia Bellis.
Services: will be held on Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at 11 a.m. in the George G. Bensing Funeral Home, Inc., 2165 Community Drive, Route 946, Village of Moorestown-Bath, PA 18014. Friends and relatives are invited to call on Wednesday morning from 10 to 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in the Covenant United Methodist Cemetery, Point Phillips."
