Maria came to the United states in 1922. She was 18 years old and full of energy. She lived with her sister Angela Marchetti for a short period before getting married to Luigi Parabicoli. Maria was a member of the former Anita Garabaldi Society. Maria also lost her vision in the mid 1950's. Her married name parabicoli was changed to Paradise around 1925. Maria had three daughters, Leah, Louise and Baby Paradise. Nonna will forever be in our thoughts and prayers.
