Coila Addy Glass, 75, 10538 Coleridge, Dallas, died Wednesday, February 8, 1995, at her residence. Her son Mike was with her.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, February 13, in Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Patrick D. Williams officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 3-4:00 p.m. Sunday.
Mrs. Glass was born in Chicota on May 3, 1919, a daughter of Robert Edward 'Ed' Addy and Elizabeth Arthenia 'Bess' Seay Addy. She attended schools in Chicota. She married John Howard Glass in Paris on December 15, 1940. He died November 22, 1991. They moved to Dallas in 1955. She was a manager of the Lillie Rubin Dress Shop there for 15 years before retiring in 1985. She was a member of the Lakeside Baptist Church in Dallas.
Surviving are three sons, John Michael Glass of Dallas, Scott Howard Glass of Philadelphia, PA, and Stanley Wayne Glass of Lancaster; a daughter, Sally Bess Glass Duckworth of Olney, MD; seven grandchildren; two brothers, Stanley Addy of Paris and Chief Addy of Dallas; and three sisters, Nell Griffin of Paris, Sarah Flinn of Dallas and Vignon Jones of Garland.
Pallbearers are her sons, grandsons, and a brother, John Michael Glass, Scott Howard Glass, Stanley Wayne Glass, Scotty Glass, J. Michael Glass and Chief Addy.
