A retired self-employed business man and farmer, enjoyed fishing and entertaining family and friends at their home on Grand Lake. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, two daughters and a son-in-law, Kay Ann Little, Teresa and Mike Lonberger, four brothers, Lowell, Elwyn, Ernest, and Jim and one sister Maratha Moore.
Bob is survived by his wife, Virginia "Marlene", whom he married on July 29, 1950, son and daughter-in-law William "Bill" and Barbara Little of Augusta, KS, daughter and son-in-law Polly J. and Nathan Knapp of Douglass, KS. Three granddaughters, one grandson, 6 great-grand children, two brothers, Elwood and wife Mary, of Wichita, Duane and wife Leola, of Douglass, four sisters, Trudi Garvey and Margaret Polk of Emporia, KS Virginia Lamb of VanCouver, WA and Joyce Riggs and Husband James of Fallbrook, Ca, many nieces, nephews and friends and foster daughters Susan Miller of Wellington, Ks and Alesha Haaga of Douglass, KS.
Viewing Friday 1-8pm, at Hillside Funeral Home East. Viewing, 12-2pm Sat., Funeral Service at 2pm both at First Christian Church in Douglass with burial to follow at Douglass Cemetery.
